Thanks for visiting! My name is Caitlyn Linehan and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Geography from University of California, Santa Barbara. 

 

I received my B.S. in Environmental Science at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. I also received my M.S. in Geographic Information Science from CUNY Lehman College in the Bronx, NY. My interests lie in the use of GISc and Remote sensing in studying walkability and green space access in urban areas. My hope is to analyze land use change concerning urban change, ecological resiliency, conservation, environmental justice, and natural risk management.

A large career aspiration of mine lies in the expansion of environmental education especially for urban teens in NYC.
